Steven Billet is the Director of the Master’s in Legislative Affairs at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM). In this capacity he leads a program which trains professionals that work in a broad array of positions on Capitol Hill and in the Washington advocacy community. Prior to joining the GSPM, he worked as a lobbyist for eighteen years in the AT&T family of companies. This included a six-year period in Brussels as the company’s regional director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He received his Ph.D. in Government from Notre Dame in 1986. Dr. Billet teaches "Lobbying, Money and Influence in Washington DC" for the Washington Program.
