Steven Billet is the Director of the Master’s in Legislative Affairs at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM), where he has taught courses on Legislative Politics, PAC Management, Interest Group Politics, Lobbying in the European Union and International Advocacy. Prior to joining the faculty at George Washington, he worked as a lobbyist for eighteen years in the AT&T family of companies. This included a six-year period in Brussels as the company’s regional director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Dr. Billet continues to work in the European arena as a consultant to interest groups, an advisor to think tanks and a writer on European topics. He received his Ph.D. in Government from Notre Dame in 1986. He teaches courses on legislative politics and lobbying for the Washington Program.
