Internships

Jackson Hignite

Washington Program staff works with accepted students to identify professional objectives and to assist students in securing intellectually-rewarding internships. While the Washington Program does not place students into internships, the program staff and Center for Career Development work closely with each student to help them with every step of the internship application process.

Each student will be responsible for choosing where to apply for an internship. For over 20 years, students in the Washington Program have interned with a range of offices and organizations including; Capitol Hill, the White House, lobbying and law firms, think tanks and public interest organizations, consulting companies, media and news organizations. Students receive three (3) credit hours for their internship.
